2 of my babies
Here are some recent pics of 2 of my babies. The one on the right is a C99 X Grapefruit. I crossed the Shiva Skunk traits of one Bros. Grimm C99 with the Citrus pheno of another C99 from 2 seperate batches of seeds from Bros. Grimm during early test grow of the strain. I then named this Grapefruit b/c it smells just like fresh Grapefruit and leaves the taste of Grapefruit in your mouth when smoked. I took a male of this cross and hit a cut of my 1st release C99 which was more the tropical/pineapple pheno.

The one on the right is a C99/Grapefruit x early Blueberry circa 96. I took pollen off a C99/Grapefruit male and hit a cut off my Blueberry mother. Both are absolutley devine in structure, smell, taste, and potency.

These pics are after 18 days of veg from cut and on the 8th day of 12/12. Enjoy.

Freaking beautiful, bro!! My oh my, thats what these will look like - wahoo!! I've got some double serrations going on with 3 of the 5 - 2 are the blue geez cross, one is just the c99xgf - but they've got that same double serration marks that my kakalak kush keepers had. Is there any significance to this marking with the c99, or Grimm genetics, or just a sign of extra terpenes and trichome capacity as a general rule? (this is the first time I've really noticed details like this in my grows - I've been smelling these since they were young, bro, they smell just like grapefruit - really can't wait to smoke this! (and make some cookies - lemon or sugar cookies with this in the butter, hmm!!!!!)

I really appreciate you giving me the honor of growing these out for ya, bro - they root in about 8 days in soil with no issues - getting ready to top the rest, If I can find the pics of the first one I topped I'll post the pics here on weedpals - I lost my camera earlier, took a bunch yesterday. I've got the upper growth tied down so the lower can catch up - she's gonna branch out and bloom nicely in a 5 gal smartpot, getting ready to transplant her in a couple of days here. If I can't find the pics I just took I'll take some more again then and post them. Now outside to water the greenhouse - the heater is keeping the temps at 56 degrees, even in this cold snap where its 30 degrees right now!! Later bro!

Thanks Phil. I appreciate you keeping me informed on the test grow. Yours should look very similar, but will have some of the Blue Geez traits as well. True Bros. Grimm C99 has the double serrations; it is a trait found in few C99 I see other than true Bros. Grimm stock. I think you will love all aspects of these, taste, smell, and potency.

All of these popped thru the soil 14 days ago. Love the vigor of all of them. I see a mom or 2 out of the 3 for sure.

Smoke's GDP S1

Here is my 15th day of flower update. Both are developing great. These are all X Nutrients w/ a couple amendments.

C99 X Grapefruit

(C99 X Grapefruit) X Blueberry

Here is what I'm using for all of the above plants:

House & Garden Roots Excelerator(1st 3 wks only)
Strata Super Organic Stimulator(every feeding w/ nutes during veg and flower)
Extreme Gardening Mykos Drops(only when I transplant to bigger pots.)
X Nutrients Grow, Micro, and Amino Blast for veg.
X Nutrients Bloom, Micro, Amino and Rock Resinator for first 4 weeks of flowering.
X Nutrients Bloom, Micro, Amino, and Bloom FX for last 4 weeks of flowering.
Cutting Edge Solutions Sour Dee from on the 5th week to the 7th week along with the above nutrients.
X Nutrients Flushing Solution for the last week.

My soil mix is:
40% Roots Organic Coco Coir soiless Mix
40% Roots Organic 707 mix
20% Rice Hulls

No need for perlite for the Coco coir mix has plenty and so does the 707. The Rice Hulls work much like perlite but provide an organic silicon for the plants. So far I'm loving my results. Lots of cool experiments coming as well, I am playing around w/ several nutrients and combinations of nutrients and beneficials for that optimum performance in my grows.

Sounds like a pretty awesome cross! I look forward to your updates..

Yes, I like X Nutrients Flushing solution b/c I can feed all the way to the last week, then hit them witht he flush for 7 days and harvest on the 8th day. IMHO the last 3 weeks of flowering are vital for full production and flushing for 2 wks is just not productive. With a 1 wk flush using the solution as directed gives you an extra week to feed and they are still well flushed after 8 days of flush. Hit them with the flushing solution so you have 30% runoff in each pot in soil, coco, and soiless mediums. Hit them again 3 days later same way. Harvest on the 8th day. So far I'm loving my results.

Update. I will just let the pics do the talking. My phone don't take the best pics, but I will be getting a better camera soon.

I love my keif box. If anyone is interested in one of these, please feel free to message me. These are solid wood, handmade in Michigan, custom engraved with whatever you want on it. They come in Oak, Maple, and Black Walnut. My friend also makes other custom wood products and smoke accessories as well.

love your grow...thats just 2 plants? wow!!! what size light, tent, & ventilation system r u running? never heard of x nutes, ill have to chck them out. im getting ready to start a coco grow. i was thinking about going with botanicares cns 17 3 part system. have u ever tried them? also how much r those boxes? and is that a screen in the bottom of box? sorry bout all ?' s holla

Yes, 2 plants flowering and 2 just placed into the tent. ventilation is 6" 380 CFM inline fan running from a carbon filter-through an Extreme XXXL 6" hood which has a 1K Horti bulb. Inlet air is a small 8" 180 CFM fan. There is a small dehumidifier inside a 4X4X7 tent. I keep an Exhale bag in the tent for added CO2. The tent maintains consistent temps of 76-80 lights on and 68-72 lights off w/ RH running 42-48. The room itself maintains temps in the mid 70's w/ RH running the same 42-48.

Yes, I have used Botanicare before. I do not bash any nutrient line b/c nutrients do not kill plants, growers do. My philosophy is they all work if you use them properly and maintain a consistent environment. I take 3 main factors and few minor factors into consideration; such as: price, concentrations, consistency in concentrations, effectiveness(do the plants use it or does it just turn to salts in my soil), etc... I use a few products from other lines but the main ingredients of my schedule is X Nutrients. I have tried using just products from one line, and honestly it can be costly and some things just do not maintain the level of growth and production I like in my grows. So far, my system works and produces well.

The boxes range from $50-$75 and yes, they have a screen so keif is caught in the bottom of the box. He can do anything you want on the box to personalize it. You can find his products at www.customheadshop.com

kjr57: I use 10 ml per gl of the Amino and 15 ml per gl on the Micro during veg.

I always grow mine from seed but mine never look like this!
#14 March 1, 2:51 pm
No, my Blueberry mom is at another grow but as soon as I get a mother room set up she will be here with me. Yes, basically both of these are different phenos of Bros Grimm C99 crossed w/ the exception of the Blueberry in one of them. I selectively grew 2 batches of test seeds plus purchased another 3 packs so the parents in these crosses came from a totoal of 50 plants. I feel the C99/GF is a cross of the best of the best of the C99 traits and phenos.

Queen, I am big on transplanting. I find the plants always grow better from seed when they are starte din small pots and transplanted into bigger pots. I go from 4" to 1 gl to 3 gl during veg assuring I give them at least 10 days in the 3gl pots to build a good root system. I also use Extreme Gardening Mykos Drops each transplanting.

I'll post pics when I can but I started from seed in started pots. I have just transplanted one because of its size and the fact that the roots have exploded thru the pot!
